Unofficially, every year is the year of the Sư Tử (lion), more specifically the Sư Tử Hà Đông (lioness from Hadong), which in Vietnam stands for jealous women, true lionesses.
Officially, however, each year is the year of a different animal.
While animals come and go every year, this one stays forever! And not even a fire-breathing dragon could deter it.
